Safe Boating Course to be Held at Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield



The course will be held on Saturday, April 12th 8:00 to 12:00 and Sunday, April 13 twelve p.m. to four p.m. There is no charge for the course.

Mike Devine of the Boys and Girls Club Development Committee, who is a licensed captain, will lead the course.

Of course the safe navigation in accordance with the Massachusetts Environmental Police regulations for the safe operation of ships, personal pleasure boats and yachts.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a "Boating Safety Certificate" which allows those who are 12-15 years old to operate motor boat without an adult on board, and those who are 16-17 for a personal boat (PWC).

This certificate is recognized in the State of NH and other states (www.nasbla.org).
